The Moonlit Forest Gala will take place in the Cobb Galleria Centre Williams Ballroom. From okami to tanuki to humans, all are welcome to this enchanted event!
Please remember that the gala is a formal event. You can draw the inspiration for your garb from the fineries of the royalty and nobles of your kingdom.
The AWA Ball is a formal ballroom dancing event and not a standard convention masquerade dance. It is not a costume party, but an actual ball filled with your fellow formally-attired anime fans. We present an elegant evening of refined music and entertainment not found at any other convention.
As always, the dress code is Black Tie. Formal wear is preferred; formal cosplay is encouraged. You do not need to dress according to the theme, but you are required to meet the basic demands of a formal event. A jacket and tie is the minimum required for the Gentlemen, and a knee length or longer dress for the Ladies. Weapons are not allowed in the Ball. This is a peaceful evening of dancing and merriment, not a showplace for the artifacts of conflict.

Tickets: $30.00 at the door
Doors open 8pm, Dining and Dancing until Midnight. Dress Code: Black Tie Invited (formal wear preferred, suits/dresses allowed). Formal Cosplay allowed. The Ball features our exclusive Live string quartet playing Ballroom dances and Anime themes. Buffet/light snacks included in ticket price. A non-alcoholic cash bar will also be available. There will be a ballroom dance class Friday afternoon outside the Williams Ballroom (check your schedule for the time).
